For lærere, der er interesseret i at udvide sine geografiske horisonter og at arbejde  internationalt, kan det anbefales at indmelde sig i InSEA (International Society of Education Through Art).

InSEA er en international organisation som samler lærere og andre faggrupper som arbejder med billedundervisning fra børnehaveklasse til universitetsniveau. Foreningen dannedes i 1951 i samarbejde med UNESCO og arbejder globalt og lokalt for at støtte og udvikle billedundervisningen.

InSEA giver også støtte til internationale samarbejdsprojekter. Foreningen arrangerer internationale kongresser, hvor alle medlemmer er velkommen til at deltage. Foreningen driver sit eget forlag og en boghandel med litteratur indenfor det billedpædagogiske område.

International Child Art Foundation 

INSEA udgiver et tidsskrift: International Journal of Education Through Art. Det første nummer udkom i juni 2005, og på ovennævnte site kan man læse abstracts fra artiklerne.
